Manager/Supervisor

V-Tron Electronics Corporation is looking for a Production Manager to join our team in our Attleboro location. The Production Manager is a key member of the Production team who will organize and oversee the manufacturing process.  Proficiency in production processes and the ability to guide your team to top performance will set you apart as a leader. Expect to spend much of your time making decisions and solving problems.  The right person for this role needs to be approachable and empathetic, with a natural ability to make others feel comfortable and understood.

The ideal candidate will be curious, have a strong attention to detail and passion for customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
  • Organize workflow to meet customer specifications and deadlines.
  • Monitor and optimize the production schedule and resolve issues.
  • Manage and evaluate performance of production personnel.
  • Identify production personnel requirements and be involved in the hiring process.
  • Ensure manufacturing output meets quality standards.
  • Enforce health and safety precautions
  • Report to upper management.
Experience Requirements: 
  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing/Production Manager.
  • Extensive expertise in managing production processes.
  • Experience with wire and cable assembly desired.  ISO 9000
  • Knowledge of quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with evaluating employee performance and understanding budgeting principles.
  • Tracking and reporting key production metrics.
  • Experience using any ERP/MRP system is preferred.
Skills Required:
  • Must be able to communicate effectively through verbal and written formats.
  • Supervise staff in all aspects of production.
  • Problem solves situations and implements resolutions quickly and efficiently.
  • Accurately, oversee the production floor from start to finish and ensure jobs are scheduled in accordance with customer due dates.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and independently.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of windows-based software including but not limited to MS word, MS excel and MS outlook.
  • Ability to work with all management to strategically plan for the future
  • Maintain and follow company policies.
